ABOUT DR. Steve McKeever
Dr. McKeever was born and raised in Enid, and attended Enid's schools. He
attended college at the University of Colorado, and came back to Phillips
University to finish his pre-dental education. In 1960, he was accepted to the
Baylor University College of Dentistry and graduated in 1964.
After serving two years in the United States Air Force, he returned to Enid
and established his first practice. His current office was built in 1970, and
was remodeled from top to bottom in 1996.
From the outset, continuing dental education was a priority in Dr. McKeever's
professional life. He joined the American Dental Association and the Academy of
General Dentistry. He compiled an impressive number of continuing education
hours and in 1979 received an AGD (Advanced General Dentistry) Fellowship.
In 1988, he was awarded the AGD's Mastership Award for acquiring 1100 hours
of post-graduate dental education (only a select few nationwide dentist have
achieved such a status.) Subsequently, Dr. McKeever is a board member of the
Oklahoma AGD, and holds appointed office positions in AGD's regional and
national chapters. |
